Land Rover Brand Welcomes Diesel Engine Option for Range Rover and Range Rover Sport

It's no surprise the Land Rover brand made huge news last week at the Detroit Auto Show. A brand which has debuted legend after legend for more than sixty years continues to surprise our team at Land Rover Farmington Hills with innovative technology and iconic style. Of course, they've done it again, this time revealing a diesel engine option for the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport. Check out this in-depth review straight from the show. The Land Rover discussion begins approximately one minute and thirty seconds in.

As noted, we should see around 32% better fuel economy with this engine as compared to the previous V6 engine. The 3.0-liter V6 diesel should give drivers 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, offering an impressive 25 mpg combined. The 440 lb.-ft. of torque should be noticeable especially while driving in lower speeds. We can't wait to add this option to our new inventory at our Land Rover car dealership in Farmington. We'll keep you posted here on our blog as we learn more!
